Mela Maaghi Muktsar

The Mela Maghi is a significant annual fair held in the holy city of Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab, usually in January. It commemorates the valour of the 40 Sikh warriors who sacrificed their lives in the Battle of Muktsar (also known as the Battle of Khidrana) in 1705.
